A Note for Coach Harvey
While we were fortunate enough to grow up with 3M and move through the age groups over time, then leave for high school and now college, the last thing that we would ever expect is that our Coach, the Man that taught is all how to run distance like it was a sprint, and embrace your talent, would no longer be there. We know we speak for our 3M family when we say we will miss him and his spirit will continue to reside in all of us. Thank you Coach Harvey and the Harvey family for everything.

Remembering Coach Harvey
Coach Stanley Harvey left us too soon in a tragic scuba diving accident. Known to his 3M family as Coach Harvey, he was a gentle man who cared about his family and others more than himself. Coach Harvey coached 3M track athletes for 25 years before his untimely passing.
During that time, he coached his own kids and stayed on to coach many other kids long after his own stopped running. The dedication that all of the 3M coaches have to their athletes is admirable and we probably don't thank them enough.
This foundation was created to keep the legacy of Coach Harvey alive and assist young student athletes with their higher education needs.
